Staff Spotlight: Ms. Mrazek

For our first ever “Meet McKnight” post we’re featuring Ms. Mrazek!

There’s a good chance you’ve seen Ms. Mrazek before - she regularly attends school events like the open house and is at every PFA meeting! She is a very special part of our school and we’re excited she was willing to share a little more about herself with us for this post. If you see Ms. Mrazek at school be sure to say “hello” and “thank you”!

Ms. Mrazek is the school’s Instructional Technology Integrator. She’s been in the education field for 18 years and has been with North Allegheny for six, the past two years have been here at McKnight!

PFA: Tell us about your role at McKnight.

MM: As the Instructional Technology Integrator at McKnight Elementary I have the amazing opportunity to work collaboratively with the teachers and students on a daily basis. I work hand-in-hand with the teachers to co-plan and co-teach lessons, model lessons, and provide instructional support throughout each grade level.

PFA: How do the students know you?

MM: The students know me from working with them in their classrooms!

PFA: What is your favorite thing about working at McKnight?

MM: We are family! The students and staff are what make this building the amazing place that it is and I can truly say that I enjoy coming to work every day and it is because of them!

PFA: Do you have any hobbies?

MM: Painting rocks and shopping :)

PFA: When you’re not at McKnight where are we most likely to find you?

MM: Spending time with my nieces!
