Halloween Parade & Parties 

McKnight’s Halloween Parade and Classroom Parties will occur on Tuesday, October 31st! Please find more information below. 

AM Kindergarten Parade and Parties

• AM Kindergarten has its own parade beginning at 10:00 a.m.  
• If you plan to attend, please sign in at the main office at 9:45 a.m. with your Photo ID. 
• AM Kindergarten parties will start at 10:30 a.m. 
• Approved party parents can sign in at 10:25 a.m. in the main lobby with their Photo ID.  

Reminders:

• Families will be asked to leave at the conclusion of the parade. 

• Please have your child wear their costume to school.

• Please bring a bag and other clothes if you intend to have your child change after the   

   parade.  

• AM students are NOT permitted to return for the afternoon parade.

PM Kindergarten and 1st-5th Parade and Parties

• The parade for PM Kindergarten through 5th grade will begin at 1:30 p.m.
• Students will parade outside along this route. (weather permitting)
• Pictures and short videos will be posted to social media.

Weather Cancellation: A decision will be made by 12:00 p.m. if the weather forces a cancellation. This information will be sent via email to families and on social media. If a cancellation is necessary, students will still parade inside, however, families will not be permitted to attend.  

Reminders

• Parking
• Families are asked to park in the NAI parking lot and stand along the parade route leaving space for the students to walk through.
• Lunch Changes
• Due to the afternoon parade and parties, lunches will be combined for some grade levels.  We are highly encouraging families to pack lunches for students on October 31st.
• Costume
• Students are permitted to wear their costumes to school but please remember that they must be able to learn and eat lunch without the costume causing a problem or distraction.
• Students will have the option to change into their costumes before the parade.  
• Please remember that costumes should not have excessive gore, blood, or weapons.  It is recommended that accessories be left at home so they are not lost or misplaced.
• Party Volunteers
• Parties begin at 2:30 p.m.
• Approved party parents can sign in at 2:15 p.m. in the main lobby with their Photo ID.
