October 6th - Grade Level T-Shirt Day

 

The first Friday of every month is Grade Level t-shirt day! Show your school spirit by wearing your grade-level t-shirt or a shirt with your grade's color to school! 

- K - Red

- 1st - Orange

- 2nd - Yellow

- 3rd - Green

- 4th - Blue

- 5th - Purple

 

October 13th - Wear Blue Day

 

Wear Blue to help support Team Gwen and help raise money for a great cause the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

 

JDRF is the leading global organization harnessing the power of research, advocacy, and community engagement to advance life-changing breakthroughs for type 1 diabetes. We ask you to please bring a $1 donation to support this great cause near and dear to the McKnight community.

Wear red to show your support for staying drug and alcohol-free! 

 

October 24th - Black & Gold Day 

 

We are NA - Too Smart to Start 

Wear NA colors to show your school spirit and commitment to not using drugs and alcohol!

 

 

October 25th - NO SCHOOL

 

 

 October 26th - Wear Workout Clothes Day!  

 

Exercise Your Right to be Drug and Alcohol-Free

Wear your favorite workout gear to show that you are exercising your right to stay healthy and pass on drugs and alcohol. 

 

 October 27th - Wear Neon Day! 

 

My Future is Too Bright for Drugs and Alcohol

Bring out your day-glo and say “no” to drugs and alcohol! 

 

 October 31st - Halloween Parade

 

Wear your Halloween costume to school! There will be an outdoor walking parade (weather permitting) at the school where all students get to show off their costumes. Parents are encouraged to attend and cheer our students on! Students will also participate in class parties on this day.
