Welcome to the 2019-2020 Evening Dance Program!

The McKnight Elementary PFA is pleased and proud to offer an evening dance opportunity at McKnight Elementary School open to all students from preschool through fifth grade. Many thanks to our highly experienced instructors, Lindsay Wolfinger and Kristin Buzon, for making this program possible.

 

When are the classes?

Thursday evenings, beginning September 19th and concluding in May with an optional dance recital.  Please see below for class styles, class times, and specific class dates. 

 

How much does it cost?

Cost per class is $148.00 for the entire school year, except the hour long Preschool class which is $248.00 for the year.  Payments are accepted online only.  You may pay the entire fee at once, or you may pay in installments.  Please see below for additional details.

 

If you choose to participate in the end of year recital, you will need to purchase a costume (payment due in late fall or early winter) and pay a recital fee (spring).  We endeavor to keep both of those costs as low as reasonably possible.

 

Who may participate?

ALL STUDENTS in preschool through fifth grade are welcome. Doesn’t matter where you go to school!  We will accept interested students from across North Allegheny and from other school districts.  You just need to want to DANCE and HAVE FUN with your peers!

 

How do I know which class to pick?

Classes are based on the grade level of your student and the type of dance that interests them.  These classes are all about having fun in a low stress dance environment!

 

May my student take more than one class?

Absolutely!  You are welcome to register for as many classes as you would like.

 

May I drop off my student?

Unfortunately, no. Parents/Guardians or another responsible adult MUST STAY during classes.  This is NOT a drop off program.

All classes have a five student minimum and a fifteen student maximum, with the exception of Tumbling, which has a ten student maximum. Classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis.  If the class you want is filled, please register for the waiting list.

Payment Terms

·         All payments must be made online. 

·         You may pay your tuition in full or in installments.

·         If you pay in installments:

         o   There is a $30.00 minimum payment required at registration

         o   By November 7th, 25% of your total tuition must be paid. 

         o   By January 9th, 50% of your total tuition must be paid. 

         o   By May 7th, 100% of your total tuition must be paid.
